ZombiCorp: When you need a helping hand, and you don’t care who it used to belong to!
ZombiCorp has existed since the previous age of the world, which speaks volumes that the company is older than most existing governments. ZombiCorp provides undead flesh to anyone with the coin to spare: suitable for use whether you want completely unbreakable military troops (death priest to properly command them costing extra), lab assistants immune to common problems (ZombiCorp offers deals for awakened skeletons as lab assistants for experiments too hazardous for fleshy beings), and even “companions” (a properly preserved zombie with a warming cantrip can act as a partner for the more socially inept). That’s not to say that you can’t make Special Orders: the current owner of ZombiCorp, a beefy mountain of a man that goes by the name Nate the Necromancer take special pride in completing special orders; even taking over the project personally if it offers a unique challenge. Headquarters is located near the Trollfells in the far northern continent, where ancient skeletons of huge, thunderous beasts have been found. The HQ itself is located in the ribcage of a massive, long-necked beast bigger than a building; a sizeable office is built into the animated skeleton. ZombiCorp also has many smaller traveling offices built into other strange fossilized and animated beasts.
ZombiCorp also buys corpses from people. Although many people are rather stuffy about that, when ZombiCorp offers a crap-covered farmer more money than he’ll ever make in his life to surrender his body after death, they tend to get multiple takers (although this has lead to the rumors of ZombiCorp keeping a small detachment of assassins on payroll to “retrieve” corpses while the signer is still young to use in their controversial “Undying Playmate” line). This particular offer has enraged the Necropolitan Council of Nocturne, who has a standing death warrant should any employees of ZombiCorp enter the city, or if any citizens knowingly or unknowingly aid and abet them.
